Congregational Care
Gull Lake United Methodist Church has an active congregational care team involving our Pastor, Parish/Faith Community Nurse, and members of our congregation, who meet weekly to review and pray about the Joys, Concerns, and needs in our church. This ministry brings comfort and expresses God’s healing touch to our members and their families experiencing the loss of a loved one, hospitalization, recovery at home, or while undergoing life transitions relating to health and wellbeing through presence, prayers, and scripture.
§ Hospital Visits – When a member or church friend is in the hospital, our Pastor and Parish/Faith Community Nurse would like to know. Please contact the church office if you or a family member would like a visit and prayers.
§ Prayer Requests – At GLUMC, we believe in the power of prayer. If you have a prayer concern that you would like lifted up, please let us know by calling our church office or writing your Joys and Concerns in our Prayer Book located at the entry to our sanctuary. We use Prayer Chains (by phone or email) and the Prayer Book to share requests with the congregation.
